AceShowbiz - Sandra Oh has made Emmys history by becoming the first Asian-American woman to be nominated for Lead Actress in A Drama Series.

The former "Grey's Anatomy" star landed the nod for "Killing Eve" as the nominations were announced on Thursday morning (July, 12) in Los Angeles.

Oh, who plays the titular character, was thrilled by the history-making nod, telling Deadline she was with a fellow Asian-American actress when she found out.

"Seeing her Asian face and congratulating me means a lot to me and a lot to our community and it's not only the beauty of being acknowledged for your work, it's an acknowledgement of my community and that has not always been the case," she says.
