AceShowbiz - Rapper XXXTENTACION reportedly signed a $10 million (£7.5 million) album deal before his death last month.
The 20-year-old star, real name Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, was fatally shot after leaving a motorcycle dealership in Deerfield Beach, Florida on 18 June.
According to The New York Times, Onfroy had just secured a huge payday thanks to a new contract with bosses at independent record label Empire to release his third album.
The MC had previously worked with Empire record executives on the release of his first album, 17, in August (17). His hit second album, ?, was put out by officials at distribution company Caroline in March.
Empire founder Ghazi Shami reveals the tragic musician had "a significant amount of material" already lined up for the new project, but they had not worked out a plan for its release.
Label chiefs are now considering sharing XXXTentacion's final tracks in October.
