The 'Ant-Man' star had a variety of odd jobs before she landed her big break on hit TV series 'Lost' in 2004.

AceShowbiz - Actress Evangeline Lilly once took a job as an oil change technician because she was tired of people ogling her for her looks.

The Ant-Man star had a variety of odd jobs before she landed her big break on hit TV series Lost in 2004, and she was particularly keen to take on the dirty gig because she wanted to be able to focus on work without having to worry about being judged by her appearance.

"I was a grease monkey, that's what we called it back then," she told U.S. chat show The Talk. "I had a mobile oil-changing, grease job service where I would go do oil changes on rental cars and grease jobs on big rig trucks...".

"(I took the job because) I was so tired of being ogled by customers in restaurants...," she continued of her previous stint as a waitress. "I always felt like I was being pigeonholed and identified strictly by how I looked and I just wanted to do a job where I could wear (what I wanted). Also I was like, 'Why can only guys do that? So I'm just going to do that because I want women to do that'".
