Dunham is impressed by Dyer's rant, and revealed she's a huge fan of the TV and movie hardman.

AceShowbiz - Danny Dyer's expletive-laden TV rant about former U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron has caught the eye of LENA DUNHAM - and she wants to help him break America.

The cockney actor appeared on ITV discussion show "Good Evening Britain" on Thursday night, and commented on Britain's' 'Brexit' decision to leave the European Union after a referendum called by Cameron.

The "EastEnders" star branded the ex-politician a "t**t" for calling the vote and then "scuttling" off after plunging the country into chaos - claiming Brexit was a "mad riddle" no one knew the answer to.

Dunham was impressed by Dyer's rant - and revealed she's a huge fan of the TV and movie hardman, and wants to make him a star in the U.S.

"My obsession with Danny Dyer is real and I think about him on average 4 times a week- let's let him loose on America," she wrote in response to a tweet by the writer Caitlin Moran praising him.

Dyer's comments have even drawn a response from the former Prime Minister's spokesman who told ITV News: "That's not something we will be commenting on."

Current U.K. leader Theresa May's officials also commented on the matter, saying: "People who appear on broadcasts and in newspapers are perfectly entitled to their opinions"

His anti-Brexit tirade was praised by other stars, including "Baby Driver" director Edgar Wright - who called him Britain's "poet laureate" - an honorary position appointed by the U.K. monarch which is in fact held by Carol Ann Duffy.

The rant is not the first time Dyer's comments on current affairs have gone viral, as in 2012 he marked the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks by writing: "Can't believe it's been nearly 11 years since them slags smashed into the twin towers it still freaks my nut out to this day."

Other guests on "Good Evening Britain", a one-off spin-off from ITV1's breakfast news show, included Pamela Anderson, Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, and politician turned "Strictly Come Dancing" contestant Ed Balls.
