The 'Deadpool 2' actor has addressed 50 Cent's tweets which questioned his reaction to the alleged sexual assault, insisting he refused to use violence to solve the matter.

AceShowbiz - Actor Terry Crews has shut down critics questioning his response to an alleged sexual assault, insisting he did what was needed in the moment.

Deadpool 2 actor Terry gave evidence before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday, June 26, to advocate for the Sexual Assault Survivors' Bill of Rights, after he alleged he had been sexually assaulted by Hollywood agent Adam Venit at a party in 2016.

His appearance in Washington, D.C. prompted rapper 50 Cent to post a series of since-deleted tweets, making light of Crews' story and suggesting the actor's size could have somehow prevented the alleged assault.

The Expendables star was subsequently confronted with the tweets by TMZ and offered up a diplomatic response, stating, "Well, I love 50 Cent. I listen to his music while I'm working out."

However, when pressed about what the 42-year-old rap star wrote, and specifically the comment "how big you are", Terry responded, "I prove that size doesn't matter when it comes to sexual assault."

Terry has now taken to Twitter to address the situation further.

"Why didn't you say something? I did," he writes. "Why didn't you push him off? I did. Why didn't you cuss him out? I did. Why didn't you tell the police? I did. Why didn't you press charges? I did. Why did you just let it happen? I didn't. Why didn't you beat him up? (Sigh)."

According to Variety, Terry filed a lawsuit against agent Venit, who he accused of grabbing his genitals at the event, and his employer, the William Morris Endeavor agency. The agent was suspended for 30 days in October (17), as company bosses investigated the story. Venit was invited back and demoted.
