The two musicians' voices have been brought together on a track entitled 'Where No One Stands Alone'

AceShowbiz - Elvis Presley is reuniting with his singer daughter Lisa Marie from beyond the grave for a new gospel 'duet'.

The two artists' voices have been brought together on Where No One Stands Alone, the title track from a new compilation album, inspired by the rock and roll legend's love of gospel music.

Lisa Marie Presley, who co-produced the 14-song release, writes in the album notes, "It was a very powerful and moving experience to sing with my father. The lyrics speak to me and touch my soul. I'm certain that the lyrics spoke to my father in much the same way".

The project combines classic performances from Elvis' career with new vocals from a variety of collaborators, including Cissy Houston, who worked with the late icon in 1969 as part of backing band The Sweet Inspirations.

Members of his longtime backing group The Stamps - Donnie Sumner, Bill Baize, Ed Hill and Larry Strickland - have also contributed to the new release, which features tracks like Amazing Grace and You'll Never Walk Alone.

Where No One Stands Alone will be released on 10 August, on the eve of a special Where No One Stands Alone event at his historic Graceland estate in Memphis, Tennessee.
