The former The Beatles star sings for the bride and the groom when attending his wife's nephew's wedding in Long Island, New York.

AceShowbiz - Rock legend Sir Paul McCartney served up a real treat for his wife's nephew over the weekend by performing an impromptu gig at his wedding.

The Beatles icon accompanied his wife Nancy Shevell to the family celebration at Fresh Meadow Country Club in Long Island, New York on Saturday, June 16, when he decided to jump onstage with the wedding band.

In video footage obtained by TMZ.com, McCartney can be seen wearing a white shirt and dark suit pants, with his tie loosened around his neck, as he belts out I Saw Her Standing There.

The delighted bride and groom are featured dancing in front of him, while their 300 guests cheer and sing along with the superstar.

McCartney appeared to be enjoying himself as he let loose at the bash, which was held two days before his 76th birthday on Monday, June 18.
