Their song 'Girls Like You' has set the record for the fourth-biggest leap on Hot 100 after jumping from No. 94 to No. 4.

AceShowbiz - Having been active in the music industry for more than 20 years, Maroon 5 is still considered one of the hottest bands in the world. Through their outstanding music, the band manage to catch the attention of people from all generation.

Maroon 5 recently released "Girls Like You", the third single off their latest album "Red Pill Blues", featuring Cardi B. It achieved commercial success, peaking at No. 4 on the Billboard's Hot 100 chart and topping the U.S. Digital Song chart.

Additionally, it set the record for the fourth-biggest leap on the Hot 100 ever as the song debuted at No. 94 before soaring to No. 4. It followed Kelly Clarkson's "My Life Would Suck Without You", Britney Spears' "Womanizer" and Beyonce Knowles and Shakira's "Beautiful Liar". It was also the most impressive jump on the chart by a group as well as male musician.

The music video for the song has over 100 million views on YouTube as of now. In the clip, A big group of powerful women makes a cameo appearance, including Camila Cabello, Gal Gadot, Ellen DeGeneres, Jennifer Lopez and Tiffany Haddish. In addition to that, the clip features several messages that represent various social justice and identity movements. For example, Aly Raisman wears a T-Shirt with the phrase "Always Speak Your Truth" written on it.

"Girls Like You" isn't the latest song that the band released. They surprised their fans on June 10 by premiering a cover of Bob Marley's "Three Little Birds" as well as its music video. The song was recorded as part of Hyundai's ad campaign for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The visuals was directed by Joseph Khan.

Maroon 5 is currently hitting the road in support of "Red Pill Blues". They are scheduled to wrap up the tour on October 15 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
