AceShowbiz - Soul star Erykah Badu is joining Taraji P. Henson onscreen in forthcoming romantic comedy What Men Want.

The Oscar nominee shared the news of Badu's new gig in a recent post on Instagram, as she posted a snap of the pair acting opposite one another on set.

"Y'all, Look who I get to play with!!!" excited Taraji captioned the image. "Queen @erykahbadu and all of her greatness joins the cast in #whatmenwant as #Sister!!!! Can you DIG IT!!!"

The Love of My Life hitmaker joins a cast which also includes Tracy Morgan, Wendi McLendon-Covey, and Max Greenfield, while Hairspray filmmaker Adam Shankman is serving as director.

Badu already has a number of screen credits to her name - she made her acting debut in Dan Aykroyd and John Goodman's 1998 movie Blues Brothers 2000, and went on to appear in The Cider House Rules, while more recently, she has voiced characters in animated shows Black Dynamite and Legends of Chamberlain Heights.
