Mari requested a restraining order against 50 and her ex Akbar Abdul-Ahad after the rapper posted a graphic image of Mari from a sex tape, which was allegedly leaked by her ex-boyfriend.

AceShowbiz - Singer-turned-reality TV star Teairra Mari's request for a restraining order against 50 Cent has been denied.

The rapper came under fire last month after reportedly reposting a graphic image of Mari from a sex tape, allegedly leaked on her social media page by her ex-boyfriend Akbar Abdul-Ahad.

Mari accused both her ex and the In Da Club hitmaker of trying to "slut-shame" her, and she subsequently filed suit against both men for invasion of privacy and emotional distress.

The singer, who was once signed to Jay-Z's Roc-A-Fella Records label, also tried to obtain a restraining order against 50 and Akbar to ban them from further sharing the pictures online, but her bid has been dismissed, according to TMZ.com.

Mari's attorney, women's rights advocate Lisa Bloom, has slammed the decision, which was made by a female judge, claiming the protection order was denied on a technicality.

She tells TMZ the motion was shut down because the judge "was not convinced that the photo 50 Cent posted, with ejaculate on our client's face, showed her 'engaging' in a sexual act".

"Common sense dictates that a photo of a woman with ejaculate on her face clearly depicts a sex act, and is the kind of humiliation the revenge porn law was designed to ban," she fumes.
