Riverdale actress Lili Reinhart has also uploaded a shot of herself sporting a low-cut green one-piece for the #AerieReal campaign.

AceShowbiz - Actress Gabrielle Union has encouraged fans to share their unedited swimsuit selfies online as part of a new charity push for body-positive brand Aerie.

The "Bad Boys II" beauty took to Instagram on Monday night (June 11) to promote the American Eagle Outfitters' #AerieReal campaign, through which followers can help to raise up to $25,000 (£18,700) for the U.S. National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) simply by posting their natural snaps on social media.

"Love the swim you're in!," Gabrielle captioned a series of Instagram images, in which she poses make-up free in a high-cut black-and-white one-piece.

"Swimsuit season can trigger a lot of insecurities... cellulite, ingrown hairs, scars, body diversity, ageism, you name it!" she explained. "But it's important to always embrace, own, and love every inch of yourself... imperfections and all! OWN what your mama gave ya (sic)!

"For every unretouched photo you share with #AerieREAL, @Aerie will donate $1 (up to $25K) to @NEDA."

Gabrielle isn't the only famous face to embrace the Aerie way of life - Riverdale actress Lili Reinhart has also uploaded a shot of herself sporting a low-cut green one-piece with a pair of denim shorts for the #AerieReal campaign.

"Some days are harder than others to accept your body for how it is," she wrote beside the image. "The 'ideal body' is often presented to us as looking one particular way... but that's a concept I hope to help change. There is not one shape that's more beautiful than another. We should be exposed to all body types in advertising and media. That's why I have so much appreciation for Aerie and their representation of all shapes and sizes in their campaigns."

Lili's post emerged days after facing her own body shaming experience online, after sparking speculation she was pregnant with boyfriend Cole Sprouse's baby by displaying a slightly rounded stomach.

The 21-year-old quickly shot down the claims, insisting she had just been bloated at the time, and last week (ends June 08), she admitted the baby talk had been "really upsetting".
