AceShowbiz - Convict-turned-top model Jeremy Meeks has officially ended his former marriage, days after welcoming his first child with Top Shop heiress Chloe Green.
Melissa Meeks filed for divorce last summer (17) after discovering he was cheating on her with Green, and in March, Jeremy asked the judge overseeing the case to dissolve the union as quickly as possible.
On Wednesday, June 06, his motion was granted as the judge signed off on a "status only judgment".
The ruling means the exes are now legally single, although they still have a few issues to resolve in court regarding their divorce, reports The Blast.
The Meeks had previously decided to share joint custody of its nine-year-old son, Jeremy Meeks, Jr., while the bad boy model also agreed to pay Melissa $1,000 (£740) a month in child support payments.
The news emerges hours after Jeremy was revealed to have become a father again.
On Thursday, June 07, Chloe took to Instagram to announce the arrival of their child, a baby boy named Jayden, who was born on 29 May.
"We are pleased to announce the birth of our beautiful baby boy Jayden Meeks-Green," she captioned a snap of the tot, who was pictured sporting a pale blue onesie. "Born May 29th 2018. Mommy and Baby both doing well.
"We kindly ask to respect our privacy please (sic). Much love Chloe & Jeremy".
The new parents have been dating for about a year.
Jeremy shot to fame following his arrest during a gang sweep in California in 2014, when authorities posted his mug shot on Facebook. The photo quickly went viral, earning Meeks the nickname "Hot Felon".
He served time for being a felon in possession of a firearm and grand theft, but following his release from prison in March 2016, he began a modelling career and has since walked the runway for the likes of Philipp Plein.
