AceShowbiz - 20th Century Fox has released the first trailer for Drew Goddard's latest directorial work "Bad Times at the El Royale". Making its way out on June 7, it unites a star-studded cast with plenty of murder, secrets and spying.

The trailer features seven strangers gathering at the El Royale, a rundown hotel on the border of California and Nevada, where guests can choose a room in either state. While most of them seem to enjoy their stay at the hotel, a young concierge (Lewis Pullham) warns a priest (Jeff Bridges) that the hotel "is not a place for a priest, Father. You shouldn't be here."

The happy-go-lucky atmosphere at the hotel soon turns into a mayhem when a guest is being killed by a mystery man. A vacuum salesman (Jon Hamm) is seen spying on guests through one-way glass, while Dakota Johnson's character appears to take her sister (Cailee Spaeny) hostage. However, there is one person that they need to be wary of. "You need to get away from him as far as possible," someone says in voiceover as a cult leader (Chris Hemsworth) enters the hotel, looking shady.

At the end of the trailer, the priest is held at gunpoint by a soul singer (Cynthia Erivo). "I'm not really a priest," he says, to which she agrees, "Yeah. No s**t."

"Bad Times at the El Royale" follows seven strangers, each with a secret to bury, meet at Lake Tahoe's El Royale, a rundown hotel with a dark past. Over the course of one fateful night, everyone will have a last shot at redemption - before everything goes to hell.

Along with the previously mentioned actors, its cast include Russell Crowe, Nick Offerman and Mark O'Brien. The movie hits theaters in the U.S. on October 5.
