The 37-year-old actress admits the 'Bride Wars' star makes her rethink her decision to stop working out because she 'is so fit.'

AceShowbiz - Kate Hudson has inspired Jessica Alba to get back in shape after becoming a mum for the third time.

The "Sin City" star gave birth to son Hayes on New Year's Eve (December 31, 2017) and admits getting fit again has been a nightmare, because she hates working out.

And then a chance meeting with Hudson, who is pregnant with her third child, made her rethink her priorities.

"That s**t (working out) is hard," she tells InStyle magazine. "Working out is not easy, but I'm doing it. I'm dropping a name here, but I was with Kate Hudson, and she's so fit! And I was like, 'You work out every day?' And she said, 'Of course I do'.

"I was just like, 'F**k, man, she doesn't even question it, so I shouldn't question it either'."

Jessica is trying to get back into shape so she'll look and feel great as she promotes her new TV police drama LA's Finest.

She has paired up with Gabrielle Union for the "Bad Boys" spin-off, which is currently in limbo after NBC network bosses passed on the project.

The actresses teamed up to shoot a pilot for the police drama in March, just three months after Jessica became a mother for the third time, but TV executives have since decided not to move forward with the series.

Despite the NBC snub, all is not lost - the project is currently being shopped to other networks.

"LA's Finest" centres on Special Agent Syd Burnett, Gabrielle's free-spirited character in 2003 movie "Bad Boys 2", as she starts a new life as a Los Angeles detective, partnered with working single mum Nancy McKenna, played by Jessica.

The series reunited Union with Bad Boys franchise producer Jerry Bruckheimer, while the two leading ladies also serve as executive producers on the show.
