Interestingly enough, his suggestive tweet came hours after 'Total Bellas' aired an episode of the former couple discussing their issues ahead of their breakup.

AceShowbiz - Rumors of John Cena and Nikki Bella rekindling their romance have been going around on the internet lately, and the former seems to add fuel to the rumors. The "Trainwreck" star took to Twitter on May 28 to post a suggestive tweet.

"Let's stop messing around, and start messing around," he simply wrote on the micro-blogging site. It's unclear for whom the provocative tweet was directed for, but many suggest that the 41-year-old wrestler and actor was addressing his wrestler ex-girlfriend.

Interestingly enough, the message came hours after E! revealed the former couple's issues in the latest episode of "Total Bellas". The pair had an emotional conversation about their future, with Nikki opening up about her desire to have kids. However, it wasn't something that John was interested in, prompting him to tell her that he wasn't sure if they "should go through" with their plans to marry.

John has yet to give comment on his cryptic tweet.

The pair, who dated for six years, called it quits in April, just weeks before they were set to tie the knot. Since then, John appeared to have had a change of heart when he appeared on "Today" and said of his ex-girlfriend, "I love her. I want to be with her. I want to make her my wife. I want to be the father of her children. I just want us to work."

Following his appearance on the talk show, the two were spotted together in San Diego last week, sparking rumors that they gave their failed relationship another go. "They're basically back together," a source previously shared. "They both got a wake-up call once they canceled the wedding, and they both realized they could fix what was broken."

"This was never really about ending their relationship it was about calling off wedding because something didn't feel right," the source continued. "It was a wedding that was entered into under false pretenses."
