'Real Housewives' Star Ramona Singer Shaken Up But Okay After Four-Car Accident

The 'Real Housewives of New York' star was involved in a fender bender when she rear-ended a Mazda in the eastbound lane of Montauk Highway over the weekend.

AceShowbiz - "The Real Housewives of New York City" star Ramona Singer was involved in a car accident in the Hamptons on Memorial Day weekend. The reality TV star had left her home in Southampton, NY on Saturday night, May 26 and was traveling along Montauk Highway in her Maserati when she rear-ended a Mazda, TMZ reports.

The fender bender was reportedly caused by weekend Hamptons' traffic. Four cars were involved in the pile-up, which was caused by a sudden stop of the first car. The Mazda was the third car, and Ramona's Maserati was in the back. Her car was totaled due to significant front end damage.

Ramona was reportedly upset after the accident, but a source tells Page Six that no one appeared to be hurt in the incident. She was spotted on the side of the road "talking on her phone and was visibly annoyed." She was joined by the passengers in the car she hit and the Southampton police. According to the site, police shut down eastbound traffic on Montauk Highway and rerouted travelers through back roads.

TMZ additionally reports that Ramona suffered bruises and minor aches and pains, and was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital, where she received a treatment. She was released shortly afterward. She's reportedly still shaken up, but is doing okay and recovering nicely.

The accident apparently didn't dampen her spirit to celebrate Memorial Day. Ramona took to Instagram on Monday to thank the U.S. soldiers and army veterans. She also mentioned the fender bender in the post.

"It’s Memorial Day . Thanks to all who sacrificed . I’m sorry I did not put out flags earlier in recognition of this important day but I had a accident and been icing non stop," so she wrote.
