AceShowbiz - R&B singer SZA has temporarily pulled out of the TDE Championship Tour due to vocal cord issues.

The Love Galore hitmaker has been touring the country with Kendrick Lamar and Schoolboy Q, but she now has to rest up before planning a return to the stage.

"I got some bad news," TDE founder Anthony 'Top Dawg' Tiffith wrote on Twitter on Tuesday, May 22. "I have to take SZA off for a few days on the tour. Her vocal chords (sic) are swollen and she have (sic) to rest her voice to prevent any permanent damage".

"We been monitoring her close and this is the reason she missed the Arizona and New Mexico dates," he added. "She'll see the doctor again in a few days and I'll update you guys on her status. As for the dates she missed, we'll figure out a way to make it up to you guys".

The tour is scheduled to come to a close 16 June in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
