AceShowbiz - Miranda Lambert's musician boyfriend Evan Felker has filed new court papers to speed up his divorce. The folk singer separated from Staci Nelson earlier this year and filed papers to end their marriage in February, weeks before it emerged he had already moved on with Lambert.
Now Evan is urging the judge overseeing his case to issue a scheduling order, ensuring there are no hold-ups in the court procedure. According to legal documents filed on Tuesday, May 15, he fears that without the order, his estranged wife may "unduly delay" the divorce, reports Us Weekly.
Evan and Staci wed in September, 2016.
He apparently grew close to Miranda earlier this year, around the time of her split from fellow country musician Anderson East, while his band supported the "Vice" hitmaker on her Livin' Like Hippies Tour.
Miranda and Anderson started dating in 2015, shortly after the "Vice" singer's divorce from Blake Shelton.
