AceShowbiz - Singer/songwriter Jason Isbell leads all nominees for the upcoming 17th annual Americana Music Association Awards. The star is up for Artist of the Year, alongside Brandi Carlile, Margo Price, and John Prine, as well as three other top awards.
Price and Carlile have three mentions apiece. Isbell is also up for Album of the Year for his Grammy-winning release "The Nashville Sound", and Song of the Year for "If We Were Vampires".
The Americana Honors and Awards show will take place on 12 September at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium in Tennessee.
