Many fans response to his support by posting numerous shocked face images, with one sharing a gif of Oprah Winfrey saying, 'What is going on?'

AceShowbiz - Even though Rob Kardashian and Rita Ora had a very rough break up, it doesn't mean that the former would not show his support for his ex-girlfriend anymore. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star is standing by his singer ex-girlfriend, who has been receiving backlash over her new song "Girls".

Many people called out the song for being tone-deaf, problematic and perpetuating queer stereotype. In response to the backlash, Rita took to Twitter to issue an apology. Revealing that the so-called bi anthem track was supposed to be "an accurate account of a very real and honest experience," she said, "I have had romantic relationship with women and men throughout my life and this is my personal journey."

"I am sorry how I expressed myself in my song has hurt anyone. I would never intentionally cause harm to other LGBTQ+ people or anyone. Looking forward, I hope that continuing to express myself through my art will empower my fans to feel as proud as themselves as I'm learning to feel about who I am," she added, before concluding, "I have strived to be a contributor to the LGBTQ+ community throughout my entire career and always will be."

Ultimately, Rob saw the tweet and showed his support by retweeting the post along with six praise hands emojis. Fans immediately responded to the tweet by posting numerous shocked face images, with one sharing a gif of Oprah Winfrey saying, "What is going on?"

Another added, "If someone could explain to me what's going on. I apparently can't keep up." One other fan shared a gif of an unamused dog and tweeted, "Nice he's praising his ex he said effed like 50 dudes when they were together. He's grown so much."

Rob and Rita broke up in 2012 after dating for a couple of months. They didn't break up amicably as the youngest Kardashian sibling claimed that the "For You" singer "cheated on me with nearly 20 dudes while we were together."
