During her appearance on 'Good Morning Britain', the actress insists that she doesn't get it because of her past cocaine addiction.

AceShowbiz - Daniella Westbrook is set to undergo surgery to get a new cheekbone made from her rib. The former "EastEnders" star explained on "Good Morning Britain" on Tuesday, May 8, that she had no bone left in her left cheek due to her battle with osteoporosis, a condition which weakens bones.

She assured presenters Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid that she didn't get it because of her past cocaine addiction, which left her with an eroded nasal septum, but down to poor dental work.

"When I was doing excessive amounts of drugs and lost my nose I would have got it then, not after being 13 years clean. I wouldn't have just got it in the last three years," she explained, before discussing the botched dental work.

She continued, "The screws, which they have left in, the bone didn't close around them when I had implants, which led to blood getting into the bone so it just died. That gave me the septicaemia which gave me the bone disease and started rotting away and it's all down to that... They were going to have to take some of my skull but they're going to use a floating rib."

The 44-year-old then prodded her cheek and insisted once again that it was nothing to do with her prior substance abuse and she would put her hands up and admit it if it was, adding, "Like I did before with my nose."
