AceShowbiz - "The Vampire Diaries" star Steven R. McQueen is single again after calling off his engagement to model Alexandra Silva. The actor, the grandson of movie great Steve McQueen, proposed to Alexandra during a romantic dinner date in January, but it appears the relationship wasn't meant to be.
McQueen shared the news of the couple's split while attending the Voices in Displacement Gala in Beverly Hills, California on Friday, 04 May, after he was quizzed about his wedding plans.
"You know what? Actually, we called it off," he told Us Weekly. "It's just the way it was. It happened."
The 29-year-old didn't go into detail about the separation, but revealed he was enjoying some "me time."
"If I'm stressed I like anything from hiking with my dogs to boxing," Steven said. "Whatever comes up."
He and Alexandra had been dating since 2016.
