'We're all equally excited to get on the grind and bring this energy to the stage for those that have supported us throughout our career,' bassist Norwood Fisher says of their reunion.

AceShowbiz - The classic line-up of cult funk-punk group Fishbone is regrouping for a tour. Fans were alerted to plans for a reunion via Facebook in February, and now drummer Fish and guitarist John Bigham have revealed keyboard player and trombonist Chris Dowd is back with the band.

"It's absolutely unreal, at this stage of the game, to be reunited as brothers and bandmates," founding bassist Norwood Fisher told Broadway World. "The band feels as if it's almost firing better than ever. We're all equally excited to get on the grind and bring this energy to the stage for those that have supported us throughout our career."

"I just want to say thank you to all the Fishbone Soldiers for donating their hearts and souls for the preservation of our band's legacy in an OG Fishbone classic manifestation," added frontman Angelo Moore.

The group has dates booked throughout the summer, including stops at Las Vegas' Punk Rock Bowling and Music Festival on May 25, the Surf Rodeo Festival in Ventura, California, and the Fuji Rock Festival in Tokyo, Japan at the end of July.
