AceShowbiz - Paul Junger Witt, the producer behind TV hits "The Partridge Family", "Soap", and "Golden Girls", has died, aged 77. He passed away on Friday morning (April 27) at his home in Los Angeles following a battle with cancer.
Witt also produced movies like "Dead Poets Society", "Three Kings" and "Insomnia".
He formed Witt/Thomas Productions with Tony Thomas in the mid-1970s. The company became Witt/Thomas/Harris Productions when Paul's future wife, TV writer Susan Harris, joined the board.
The couple wed in 1983 and shared five kids.
