Jon's character Rio Durant looks 'very cool' with a telecommunication device on ears and goggles on the head while sitting in the cockpit.

AceShowbiz - With just less than a month until "Solo: A Star Wars Story" is released, Disney and Lucasfilm reveal a TV spot introducing one of important characters in the movie. The footage features the appearance of alien Rio Durant, who is voiced by Jon Favreau.

The clip sees Rio wearing a blue coat with a telecommunication device on his ears and goggles on the head. He is sitting in the cockpit while saying, "Oooh, is that a wookie?" From that point, it is clear that the voice comes from Jon.

Favreau hinted at his involvement in the movie by sharing a photo of himself alongside director Ron Howard and writer Lawrence Kasdan. Howard further explained that the "Chef (2014)" actor would voice a character. He also stated that he was fortunate for pulling Favreau from "The Lion King (2019)" directorial duties.

Howard also wrote on a Twitter post, "Wondering why we r all together? @Jon_Favreau is voicing a very cool & important alien character for #HanSolo Flattered & fortunate I could pull him away from his #LionKing directing duties."

Prior to revealing the footage of Rio, the studio released nine posters of the most important heroes in the movie. The posters included Alden Ehrenreich's Han Solo , Donald Glover's Lando Calrissian, Emilia Clarke's Qi'ra, Joonas Suotamo's Chewbacca, Woody Harrelson's Tobias Beckett, Thandie Newton's Val, Paul Bettany's Dryden Vos, Phoebe Waller-Bridge's L3-37 and Rio.

The new standalone movie's official logline reads, "Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in 'Solo: A Star Wars Story,' an adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga's most unlikely heroes."

"Solo: A Star Wars Story" will not hit U.S. theaters until May 25.
