AceShowbiz - John Cena admits that going through a breakup is tough. The WWE star isn't even mincing words when asked about his recent split from Nikki Bella, saying that "it sucks."
"There's no other way to say [it]," he said to Entertainment Tonight while attending Paramount's presentation during CinemaCon 2018 at The Colosseum Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on Wednesday, April 25. "I love Nicole with all my heart, and that's that."
It seems like the hunky athlete/actor finds his own way to cope with the breakup. John, who turned 41 on Monday, celebrated his own birthday all alone by doing seriously heavy-lifting at the gym. Later that day, the newly-single "Blockers" actor took to his Twitter account to share a short video of him doing 500lbs deadlift. "41 years old. 500lbs x3 'clean grip' deadlift. #EarnTheDay #NeverGiveUp #RAW," so he wrote in the caption.

John and Nikki announced that they went to separate ways after 6 years together on April 15. "While this decision was a difficult one, we continue to have a deal of love and respect for one another," the former couple said in a joint statement. "We ask that you respect our privacy during this time in our lives."
It was rumored that the reason why they decided to split was because John had no desire to get married and have kids, while Nikki has been eager to be a wife and a mom. "As the day got closer [to their initially-planned wedding], it was like he just went back to who he's always been -- which is someone who puts himself first, always," a source said of the wrestler. "He's an incredibly dedicated, driven, ambitious guy. And for the longest time he said he didn’t think he had room in his life for a spouse or kids. It seems like in the end that was still the truth."
The source added, "He never should've proposed, let alone in front of million of people," adding that Nikki is "heartbroken" over the split. "This was supposed to be the happiest time of her life. He ruined it and blew everything up."
Nikki's twin sister Brie Bella recently shared that fans could see what went wrong in the former WWE couple's relationship in the upcoming season of "Total Bellas".
