Ron Howard shares a picture of young and cool Lando Calrissian, played by Donald Glover, in the cockpit of the fastest ship in the galaxy.

AceShowbiz - "Solo: A Star Wars Story" director Ron Howard posts on his Instagram account a picture of the upcoming movie. Ron reveals a new image of smuggler Lando Calrissian who is portrayed by Donald Glover.

In an attempt to enhance fans' excitement of the upcoming movie, Ron shares a picture of young and cool Lando Calrissian, who wears a yellow T-shirt, in cockpit of Millenium Falcon, the fastest ship in the galaxy. Ron captions it, "From our #ilmvfx review today. #DonaldGlover #landocalrissian #miliniumfalcon #Solo."

As fans remember, Lando was the pilot and the owner of the iconic "Star Wars" vessel until he lost it to Han Solo in a card game. It is unknown if the ship goes light speed or if it just parks outside a storm as Ron states that the picture comes from an effects review.

Of portraying the smuggler, Donald said, "You tend to do a better job of things when you're a fan. You have standards, a little bit. You just know what you would hate a little bit more. If that happened, you'd be like, 'This is wack.' " He also added that he would not play the character like how it used to be portrayed by Billy Dee Williams years ago, saying, "You don't want to do an imitation in this kind of thing. You just want somebody to exude that feeling currently."

Meanwhile, Alden Ehrenreich, who is cast as Han Solo, commented on the movie, "I think this movie is a great adventure story, and it's a great adventure story that's kind of a biopic in the way of a fictional character." He added, "So you're watching this story unfold and enjoying the high excitement of that. And then at the same time, there's more of a focus on character and how he changes, I think, than you typically get in that kind of movie."

The movie script comes from Jonathan and Lawrence Kasdan. Meanwhile, Kathleen Kennedy, Allison Shearmur and Simon Emauel produce the movie. The movie is going to premiere on May 15 at Cannes Film Festival and will hit the United States theaters on May 25.
