Han Solo joins a team of smugglers, something which he is eager to do, despite the potential lifelong consequence of it.

AceShowbiz - Walt Disney Pictures has released a new trailer for "Solo: A Star Wars Story", which shares more details about the characters and what the movie is about. Woody Harrelson's Tobias Beckett is putting together a team of smugglers to pull off a heist, something which Han Solo Alden Ehrenreich is eager to do.

Tobias suggests that there's no going back after Han chooses this life of crime. "If you come with us, you're in this life for good," Tobias tells Han, something that is proven wrong as we know what Han would later become.

Tobias also gives Han some advice, "Assume everyone will betray you. And you will never be disappointed." The titular character, however, remains positive as he says, "I have a really good feeling about this."

Han and his loyal companion Chewbacca (Joonas Suotamo) are later seen in an action-packed adventure, which at one point puts Chewie's life in danger. We also get to learn Chewie's age. The video additionally gives a look at some new characters, including Chewie's furry love interest whom he embraces, and Paul Bettany's scarred crimelord Dryden Vos.

"Solo: A Star Wars Story" is an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian in a journey that will set the course of one of the "Star Wars" saga's most unlikely heroes.

Donald Glover stars as Han's friend Lando Calrissian, Emilia Clarke portrays a new character named Qi'ra, Thandie Newton plays low-grade hoodlum Val, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge voices new droid L3-37.

Directed by Ron Howard who took over the duty from Phil Lord and Christopher Miller midway through the production, "Solo: A Star Wars Story" is described as a space western. It will premiere at Cannes Film Festival on May 25, the same day it opens in theaters across the nation.
