AceShowbiz - Kathy Griffin returned to the small screen after a scandalous picture of beheaded Donald Trump that nearly ended her career. The comedienne appeared in the Tuesday, April 3 episode of "Make America Great-A-Thon: The President Show Special" that saw her taking on a role of Trump's counselor, Kellyane Conway.

During the Comedy Central show's special, Griffin put her best to channel Conway who is infamous for her "alternative facts." Griffin donned a red, white and blue outfit which strongly resembled Conway's infamous Gucci coat she wore at the inauguration. Griffin's Conway joined Trump, who was played by comedian Anthony Atamanuik.

Griffin's impression of Conway was dead-on, as she mimicked the latter's method of not answering direct question but looping them around into nonsensical stuff instead. "She's the cockroach of my administration, please welcome the lone survivor of the Bowling Green massacre," Atamanuik's Trump said of Griffin's character. "You can toss out the names of the worst people in history and she’ll happily defend them."

The faux president later named disgraced Wall Street financier Bernie Madoff. "Did Bernie Madoff's investors go bankrupt? Yeah. But I find it interesting the media used the words 'pyramid scheme,' " Griffin's Conway responded. She later continued saying, "Frankly, that's anti-Semitic when you consider the terrible suffering of the Jewish people in Egypt at the time of the pharaoh. So this so-called bankruptcy is actually a moral one on your part, Wolf," referring to CNN's Wolf Blitzer.

As for Jeffrey Dahmer, Griffin joked, "Everybody needs food to survive and if your grocery store is closed, why not try the bus stop?" She later proceeded dubbing Dahmer a "foodie." Griffin also talked about Charles Manson. She said that Manson was a "family man" and O.J. Simpson was a "ladykiller."

Prior to the show, Griffin took to her Twitter account to tell her fans about the gig. "Be sure to tune in to @ComedyCentral tonight as I play Kellyanne Conway to @TonyAtamanuik's Donald Trump! 11 PM EST/10 Central," she wrote.

In addition to this, Griffin is set to be doing shows at New York City's Carnegie Hall and at Washington's Kennedy Center. Talking to Bill Maher on "Real Time with Bill Maher", she shared, "I'm dipping my toes into touring again, even though the Trumps and nobody wants me to work again. I just booked today. I'm going to do a show at Carnegie Hall in New York, and I'm also going to go right to Trump's backyard and do a show at the Kennedy Center." The show will kick off on May 25 in Toronto and wrap up on June 26 in New York.
