AceShowbiz - Breakout star Millie Bobby Brown is no doubt different from the rest of teenagers of her age. The 14-year-old actress is reportedly getting a significant salary increase for the third season of "Stranger Things".
TMZ reports that the Eleven depicter is paid $350,00 per episode for the upcoming third season of the hit thriller series. With that, Millie separates herself from the rest of young actors on the Netflix series in terms of salary, and was put on par with adult stars Winona Ryder and David Harbour in "A tier."
Should the report be true, it means that Millie earns a whopping $3.15 million in total as season 3 has 9 episodes. It shows a massive bump from Millie's original contract, which allegedly states that she'd be paid roughly $225,000.
Previous report stated that the other young cast members, including Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin and Noah Schnapp, were among the "B tier", collecting $250,000 per episode. Meanwhile, actors who play teenage characters such as Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton and Joe Keery made up the "C tier" with $150,000 per episode.
The salary raise arrives after Millie took home the trophy of Favorite TV Actress award at the 2018 Kids' Choice Awards, which was held on Saturday, March 24 at the Forum in Inglewood, California. The British-born star's win was not the only victory for "Stranger Things". The sci-fi series was announced as Favorite TV Show, besting "Fuller House", "Henry Danger", "K.C. Undercover", "Saban's Power Rangers Ninja Steel", "The Big Bang Theory", "The Flash" and "The Thundermans".
During the event, Millie honored the victims of Parkland shooting through her powerful speech as well as her outfit, which had the names of the victim at the back. "I get to be up here, privileged to have a voice that can be heard and one that can hopefully make a positive difference and help influence change. There's an amazing support -- a love and kindness in this room right now, and I want to tell everyone to embrace it and pass it on. For the angels among us, your spirit lives on," she said in her speech.
