'RuPaul's Drag Race All Star' 3 Finale: Does Your Favorite Queen Win?
TV

Before eliminating two out of the four remaining queens, they have to do the last maxi challenge where they need to write, dance and sing their own verse of 'Kitty Girl'.

AceShowbiz - "RuPaul's Drag Race All Star" season 3 has crowned its winner. In the Thursday, March 15 episode of the VH1 show, the final four, Trixie Mattel, Kennedy Davenport, Bebe Zahara Benet and Shangela, were required to finish another challenge which later determined the top 2 who would move forward to the final.

The last maxi challenge was to write, dance and sing in what Mama RuPaul called the "most ambitious production number in 'Drag Race' herstory." The contestants were asked to create their own solo verse of Ru's "Kitty Girl" while performing it in a single take with choreography by Todrick Hall. In addition, the eliminated queens would return to determine the top 2.

Everyone was trying hard to master the choreography, but things especially were rough for Bebe. After so much struggle during the rehearsals, she managed to nail her performance. Shangela also wowed everyone with her verse as Trixie showed incredible energy onstage. Kennedy, meanwhile, hoped her dancing would earn her a spot in the final.

The time for the announcement of top 2 came. As the eliminated queens were the ones choosing the final two, viewers might expect bitterness and drama. However, it went relatively drama-free as Trixie and Kennedy were announced as the top two queens.

Some fans, however, seemed to be disappointed with the result. "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" star Tituss Burgess tweeted, "@RuPaulsDragRace @RuPaul this decision is BS. I'm soooo disappointed in those catty queens! #shook @BeBeZaharaBenet @itsSHANGELA you were the top two!"

Another fan wrote, "I need to know which of the six queens didn't vote for Shangela so I can personally fight them #AllStars3."

But the show must go on and the final performance saw Trixie and Kennedy doing a dramatic lipsync battle to Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball". Both queens stunned, but there was only one winner in every competition. RuPaul later announced that the winner, whose star would be added on the show's hall of fame, was Trixie! Congratulations!
