The former 'Beverly Hills, 90210' alums are developing a new CBS series loosely based on the series, which ran from 1990 to 2000.

AceShowbiz - Amid rumors of her family turmoil, Tori Spelling is reportedly back to work. The 44-year-old actress will reunite with her "Beverly Hills, 90210" co-star and longtime pal Jennie Garth on a new series loosely based on the series, which ran from 1990 to 2000.

The potential series, which hasn't been titled yet, is being developed on CBS. Tori and Jennie, who portrayed Donna Martin and Kelly Taylor respectively on the original series, are set to play exaggerated version of themselves.

The development is seemingly underway as Tori and Jennie were spotted attending meetings about the show on Friday, March 9 at the CBS Studio Center Lot near Los Angeles. Tori took to her Instagram account to share to her followers that she's ready to bounce back. "#back2work great creative day yesterday with my #partnerincrime @jenniegarth #90210vibes #donnaandkellyforver #besties," she wrote in the caption alongside a photo of her in the car.

The news arrives after Tori's husband Dean McDermott called cops on Thursday, March 1, reporting that the actress was having a nervous breakdown. Dean allegedly described Tori to law enforcement as very aggressive and going through some sort of mental breakdown.

Later on Wednesday, March 7, Dean reportedly called the cops again to check on his wife's welfare at her home after he noticed that she left home with at least one of their five children. "We were asked to check on her well-being," the spokesperson of Ventura County Sheriff's Department said, adding that Dean was the one who made the call. Responding to the call, law enforcement officers directly went their way to find her and finally located the actress at a doctor's office around 9:45 A.M. "Deputies went out to talk to her briefly and determined she was fine," the spokesperson continued. Since there was no crime committed, the cops allegedly left the scene.

Previously, a report suggested that the breakdown stemmed from "terrible financial issues" and her marriage which "has suffered tremendously." The actress was sued by American Express for an unpaid $38,000 bill back in January 2016. In November of that same year, she was sued by American Express for $87,000 in credit card debt. Words are she has been leaning on her mother Candy for money to help pay the bills.
