AceShowbiz - The biggest night in the American film industry attracted the biggest stars in Hollywood. On Sunday, March 4, a bunch of A-listers showed up in their best dresses at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles to attend the 90th annual Academy Awards.

Gal Gadot, Jennifer Lawrence, Lupita Nyong'o and Sandra Bullock literally shone on the red carpet that night. The "Wonder Woman" star oozed glamor in a sequined silver gown with a dropped fringe waist which she completed with a drop diamond necklace. Her dark hair was arranged in a simple up do and she rocked a deep red lip.

Oscar-winning actress Lawrence wowed in a gold gown featuring delicate straps and a pleated skirt with a sweetheart neckline. The 27-year-old styled her blonde hair in waves and sported red lipstick. Nyong'o, who stars in Marvel's latest box office hit "Black Panther", stunned in a glittering gold gown with a black studded detail that ran from her right shoulder down to her left hip.

Another Oscar winner, Bullock, also opted for a gold and black dress, which included a cinched waist and a halter neckline. She paired the dress with simple sleek hair and a structured clutch. Gina Rodriguez chose a silver number with a plunging neckline and a full skirt that began at her hips. Allison Williams also stunned in a nude Armani Prive beaded cap sleeve gown with a structured waist and a voluminous skirt.

Margot Robbie looked gorgeous in a white Chanel gown with beading at the bodice, delicate draping at the shoulders and a layered skirt. Also opting for white, Mary J. Blige wore a gown with a slightly asymmetrical neckline and a pearl-beaded corset bodice that highlighted her svelte figure. Laura Dern wore a Calvin Klein By Appointment white gown with asymmetrical sleeves, while Jane Fonda sported a structured white gown with a geometric neckline and padded shoulders.

Elisabeth Moss wore a Dior Haute Couture dress with a gold accented frock. Zendaya Coleman oozed classic beauty in a chocolate hued one-shoulder gown with a pleated texture. Taraji P. Henson, meanwhile, looked hot in a black Vera Wang gown with sheer fabric featuring a thigh slit, cut-outs and draped sleeves.

Bringing more colors to the red carpet, Jennifer Garner rocked a one-shouldered bright purple gown with a gathered waist and cape-like train. Helen Mirren showed an everlasting beauty in a deep blue long sleeved column gown, while Ashley Judd opted for a strapless purple gown with a sweetheart neckline.

Viola Davis opted for a vibrant look in a sequined hot pink Michael Kors dress and a matching clutch. Salma Hayek also turned heads in a tiered, shimmering custom lilac Gucci gown with a bejeweled neckline.

Looking fresh in yellow numbers, Greta Gerwig opted for an embellished canary yellow gown and Eiza Gonzalez wore a strappy Ralph Lauren Gen Z gown. Emma Stone broke the tradition by wearing a pantsuit with a red top and black pants by Louis Vuitton. Also going with red were Allison Janney in a custom scarlet Reem Acra gown and Meryl Streep in a Dior gown.

Meanwhile, there's nothing conventional with Tiffany Haddish, Whoopi Goldberg and Andra Day's dresses. The "Girls Trip" star wore a gold and black embroidered gown with a black embroidered shawl and a golden headpiece. Goldberg opted for a colorful emerald floral gown with an off-the-shoulder neckline and a full skirt, while Day wore a patterned dress with elaborate sleeves and a dramatic hemline.

In the male department, Chadwick Boseman ruled the red carpet looks in a black jacket with silver details around the collar by Givenchy Haute Couture. Matthew McConaughey rocked a black velvet suit, while Lin-Manuel Miranda donned a blue suit. Armie Hammer looked dapper in a red suit, while his "Call Me by Your Name" co-star Timothee Chalamet opted for an all-white number. Best Actor nominee Daniel Kaluuya, meanwhile, wore a yellow ochre suit.

Also gaining attention with his look at the Oscars was Tom Holland. The "Spider-Man: Homecoming" star rocked a black suit with a bowtie that has got people talking about his James Bond-esque style. The 21-year-old actor has been open about his desire to play the legendary British spy.
