The 'Shake It Off' singer takes to Twitter to announce that the 'Havana' hitmaker and the 'Boom Clap' songstress will join her on the road this summer.

AceShowbiz - It's confirmed now! Just a day after rumors running rampage that Camila Cabello will be opening Taylor Swift's highly-anticipated "Reputation" tour, the latter confirms on Twitter that the "Havana" hitmaker will serve as the opening act on her tour this summer. Also joining Camila as the tour opener is British pop star Charli XCX.

"Hey guys, this is a 'Reputation Stadium Tour' update, and I've been wanting to tell you this for a really long time. But, the opening acts on the 'Reputation Stadium Tour' will be Charli XCX and Camila Cabello," Taylor announced in a video posted on Twitter on Thursday, March 1.

The "Look What You Made Me Do" songstress continued, "So, I'm really excited, I hope you are too, and I can't wait to see you, can't wait to see them--really excited just about the whole thing, in general." The 28-year-old chart-topper wrote in the caption, "I have a very exciting update to share... @Camila_Cabello and @charli_xcx will be the opening acts on the #reputationStadiumTour!!!"

Fans previously were convinced that Camila would be the opening act after Portland's Live 95.5 teased on Twitter an upcoming promotion where fans could win a trip to London to see Taylor and Camila at a concert at Wembley Stadium. The tweet has since been deleted.

The upcoming tour is scheduled to kick off in Glendale, Arizona on May 8 and include stops in Seattle, Toronto, Kansas City, Philadelphia and more. The former country singer will wrap it up in Auckland, New Zealand on November 9. Tickets went on sale to the general public on December 13.

Taylor was initially scheduled to travel only across North America for the tour. But due to the overwhelming demand from fans, the songstress added several dates in some countries, including Australia, England and Ireland.

The tour is held in support of Taylor's latest album "Reputation", which was released on November 10 last year. The effort topped the charts in many countries and became the best-selling album of 2017 after selling 2 million units worldwide.
