Kids' Choice Awards 2018: 'The Flash' and 'Stranger Things' Among TV Nominees

The winners will be announced at the ceremony which is scheduled to air on Saturday, March 25 at 8 P.M. on Nickelodeon with John Cena returning as the host.

AceShowbiz - Nickelodeon has announced the nominees for its 2018 Kids' Choice Awards. Revealed on Monday, February 26, the list saw The CW's "The Flash", Netflix's "Stranger Things" and CBS' "The Big Bang Theory" among the nominees in TV department. All of them are competing against each other in Favorite TV Show category. Also vying for the trophy in the category are "Fuller House", "Henry Danger", "K.C. Undercover", "Saban's Power Rangers Ninja Steel" and "The Thundermans".

Millie Bobby Brown is nominated for Favorite TV Actress for her epic portrayal of Eleven on "Stranger Things". The young actress is pitted against Candace Cameron from "Fuller House", Kaley Cuoco from "The Big Bang Theory", Kira Kosarin from "The Thundermans", Lizzy Greene from "Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn" and Zendaya Coleman from "K.C. Undercover".

Meanwhile, Favorite TV Actor category will see Barry Allen/The Flash depicter Grant Gustin competing against Andrew Lincoln ("The Walking Dead") and Jace Norman ("Henry Danger"). Joining them in the category are Jack Griffo from "The Thundermans", Jim Parsons from "The Big Bang Theory" and William Shewfelt from "Saban's Power Rangers Ninja Steel".

"SpongeBob SquarePants" and "Teen Titans Go!" are listed as Favorite Cartoon nominees. They will be facing off the likes of "ALVINNN!!! and The Chipmunks", "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", "The Loud House" and "The Simpsons".

The voting for TV categories will begin on March 12 on Nickelodeon's digital site kidschoiceawards.com, using special KCA hashtags and the hashtag of their favorite nominee. Meanwhile, the voting for music nominees starts on March 5 and followed by other categories on March 19. As for movie categories, the voting is now open.

The winners will be announced at the ceremony which is scheduled to air on Saturday, March 25 at 8 P.M. on Nickelodeon. John Cena is once again tapped as the host with a performance from Nickelodeon star JoJo Siwa.
