Previously, the stalker kept calling Baekhyun's number while the singer was doing an impromptu live broadcast with fellow EXO members Chen and Xiumin.

AceShowbiz - EXO's Baekhyun has issued an apology after he revealed a wrong number of a stalker (sasaeng) during his Instagram Live late at night on Wednesday, February 14. Taking to his account the next day, member of the popular South Korean boyfriend wrote a word of apology.

"Please do not call this number, 010-5183-xxxx. It is unrelated to sasaengs as I saw the sasaeng's incoming phone number incorrectly and said a wrong number. Please do not call; it is not a sasaeng's phone number. I am saying this after confirming it," Baekhyun wrote.

He continued, "I strongly ask this of you. Absolutely please do not ever call that unrelated person. I ask that you make no contact of any kind. I wish there will be no more people negatively affected by my mistake any longer." The "Kokobop" singer concluded his message by begging stalker-fans no to "call me as well."

Previously, the stalker kept calling Baekhyun's number while the singer was doing an impromptu live broadcast with fellow EXO members Chen and Xiumin, making the stream buffer for many times. Frustated, Baekhyun later said, "Do not call, do not call."

But his warnings were ignored as he continued saying, "Too many calls are coming in. [phone number redacted]. Do not call." The number kept calling though, and Baekhyun stated, "As I said earlier-- this person, [phone number redacted], keeps calling. And so, because the broadcast isn't working, I'll turn it off. Good night today!"

The problem was Baekhyun said two different numbers incorrectly, making him receive harsh criticism for making an innocent individual, who was not even a fan, be bombarded with phone calls and hate messages as fans of EXO, called EXO-L, thought s/he was the stalker. The supposed owner of the first phone number reportedly posted, "I am just an ordinary person," and expressed distress after being contacted by numerous fans following the star's live broadcast.

It was not the first time EXO being harassed by stalkers. Previously, bandmate Chanyeol, Sehun and Lay publicly warned the stalkers who allegedly tried to message, call and follow them through their schedules.
