AceShowbiz - Surprise! Amy Schumer is officially a married woman. The 36-year-old comedienne tied the knot with boyfriend Chris Fischer in an intimate and emotional outdoor nuptials in Malibu, California on Tuesday, February 13.
Fellow comedian John Early officiated the ceremony, which was attended by A-list celebrities. Among the attendees were Jennifer Lawrence, Jennifer Aniston, Judd Apatow, Larry David, Chelsea Handler, Jerry Seinfeld and David Spade.
The new bride took to her Instagram account to share pictures of their wedding. Schumer styled her hair in a laid-back beachy waves pulled into a low, woven pony. She wore a traditional white wedding dress by Monique Lhuillier, which the brand described as a "re-embroidered lace and tulle A-line gown with ballet bodice." The groom, meanwhile, looked dapper in a black tuxedo and matching tie.
"It was beautiful," Lawrence said of the wedding to Entertainment Tonight. "It was very sudden, but it was, I was sobbing the whole -- his vows were stunning. It's when two people really love each other and they really mean it, it shows, and it was a beautiful ceremony and an amazing time. I couldn't be happier for them."
Lawrence, who donned in a sleeveless pink high-collar Philosophy dress at the nuptials, also joked that she stole the show at Schumer's wedding ceremony. "Notice my shirt was accidentally undone the whole time," she noted. "In every wedding photo all of my buttons were undone. It looks like I was like, 'Oh you thought this was going to be about you?' "
Schumer and Fisher tied the knot after a few months of dating, so it made many people wonder if their marriage was a shotgun wedding. Schumer immediately shut down the rumors, saying that she's not pregnant.
"No I'm not pregnant," she said. "And no gifts but thank you for asking. Instead please consider donation to everytown for gun safety. Thought of Mayce and Jillian a lot yesterday and sending love to everyone who has been affected by gun violence."
