But fans now can breathe a sigh of relief for the Trinidadian beauty has resurfaced online through stunning photo shoot for Vogue.
For the shoot, Nicki channeled her inner model as she looked effortlessly flawless. Showcasing the "new generation of designers," Nicki modeled several Calvin Klein looks.
The "No Frauds" hitmaker was featured donning an evening shiny gown, which had a giant bow around the neck, in a black-and-white snap by Mikael Jansson. The photo saw Nicki posing elegantly for camera, resting her arms around her waist while closing her eyes.
Another photo revealed that the beautiful dress was actually a brilliant ruby red. Nicki flaunted her arm tattoo while putting her cleavage on display. The shoot offered a better view at the Young Money femcee's dramatic winged eyeliner.
"Transforming, to me, means changing for the better based on your experiences," the self-proclaimed "Black Barbie" said to the magazine. "I'm equipped to be a better boss now."
As for why she didn't post much on social media for the past few weeks, it turned out that Nicki has a good explanation for it. According to TMZ, the Super Bass raptress is now putting all her focus and attention on working on her next album. A source told the site that Nicki "feels way more creative without the distractions of Instagram and Twitter."
The source went on saying that Nicki "has been working night and day in the studio with major producers and rappers like Lil Wayne, Mack Maine and other Young Money acts." It was said that Nicki is not planning to go back to social media unless her album's complete.
