Elton John Fails to Apologize After His Dog Bit a Girl's Face: 'It Was Revolting'

Mari Kieran, the mother of the girl, claims that Elton and husband David Furnish know about the incident, but never apologize to her.

AceShowbiz - Elton John's dog reportedly bit a child's face during a play date at the singer's Berkshire home. It was said that the incident happened two years ago, but the mother of the child was furious as Elton has yet to personally apologize to her after the accident.

The said mother, whose name is Mari Kieran, shared details of the incident to The Sun. She claimed that her daughter, Charlotte, went to pet one of Elton's spaniels which was sleeping in the kitchen. However, it suddenly attacked Charlotte, leaving bite marks around her nose and eyes, before a chef managed to pull it away.

"She had blood and marks on her face. It was as if Freddy Krueger had run his knife fingers down her face. You could see how traumatized she was and the terror in her face. It was awful," she recalled. "She was shaking and her eyes were glazed. I've never seen a child so traumatized. How would you feel if a dog bit your face? She was only five."

Elton and his husband David Furnish were not in the house when the incident took place, and Mari was furious as she knew that the couple knew about the incident, but never apologized to her. "They absolutely did know about it. You can make assumptions but I don't know why they didn't apologize or ask how Charlotte was," she said.

"It's about responsibility as well, and being a responsible adult. I don't care about status or celebrity," she added. "Their dog full on bit my child in the face. I don't care who they are. It was revolting. This is Elton John and David Furnish's animal attacking a child and at the very least I would have expected a phone call."

A spokesperson for the singer has responded to the claims, saying that Elton and David made three attempts "to check on Charlotte's well-being following the incident, to the mother and her nanny, and each time they confirmed that Charlotte was perfectly fine."
