The famed DJ's future brother-in-law Jonathan Tuck, 25, was shot in the face on Sunday in an apartment in the Bronx, New York.

AceShowbiz - DJ Khaled is mourning the death of Jonathan Tuck, the younger brother of his 39-year-old fiancee Nicole. According to a new report from TMZ, the 25-year-old was brutally murdered on Sunday, February 4 after an alleged drug deal gone wrong.

The New York Police Department tells the site that Jonathan was at an apartment in the Belmont section of the Bronx that day to buy weed, when an altercation ensued and he was shot in the face. The apartment where the deal went sour was less than a mile from his home.

As confirmed by Radar Online, police responded to a 911 call of an unconscious male inside of 2334 Washington Avenue, apartment #3, in the Bronx at around 9:15 P.M. Upon their arrivals, officers found Jonathan with a gunshot wound to the head.

EMS responded to the location and transported Jonathan to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No suspects have been arrested in connection to Jonathan's death, but law enforcement sources reveal to TMZ that a 34-year-old man has been taken in for questioning about the fatal incident. They are still unsure if he was the shooter, though.

Jonathan was known for his time with the Bronx Colts. He was not married and is survived by a one-year-old daughter and sister Nicole. According to multiple reports, Jonathan's family was immediately notified and they rushed to the hospital to be by his side at the time of his death.

His older sister Nicole and 42-year-old Khaled have a son, Asahd, who was born on October 23, 2016. Little Asahd had just attended the Grammy Awards last week, where his dad performed alongside Rihanna, 29. Coincidentally, the "This Is What You Came for" hitmaker lost her cousin to gun violence in Barbados in late December last year.
