The visuals, which is a continuation of her two previous music videos, finds the songstress walking around a dystopian-esque wasteland as she sings about a past relationship.

AceShowbiz - Halsey has delivered the continuation of her two previous music videos, "Now or Never" and "Bad at Love". The 23-year-old songstress unveiled a music video for her poignant track "Sorry" on Friday, February 2.

The visuals, which was directed by Halsey and Sing J Lee, features the singer roaming around a dystopian-esque wasteland after a car crash. Sporting the same outfits from "Bad at Love" music video, Halsey sings about a past relationship with her face covered in blood. This time, the creepy fortuneteller from the previous visuals doesn't make an appearance.

"So I'm sorry to my unknown lover/ Sorry that I can't believe/ That anybody ever really/ Starts to fall in love with me," she rhymes. "Sorry to my unknown lover/ Sorry I could be so blind/ Didn't mean to leave you/ And all of the things that we had behind."

Shortly after the release of the clip, Halsey took to Twitter to explain the meaning behind her music video. "Sorry is a sort of fever dream," so she began. "So many of Luna's loved ones get killed at the tunnel in NoN fighting for her romance. She feels guilty/selfish and is reflecting on the people that lost their lives fighting in the name of love."

She continued in a follow-up tweet, "It's an apology to those who were victims of the violence, 'hate can't solve what it began.' Luna and Solis were meant to fulfill a prophecy, but after the chaos, Luna wonders if she wants anything to do with the prophecy at all."

The singer concluded her explanation with a tweet that read, "Love always feels like destiny till it goes terribly wrong, doesn't it?"

"Sorry" is the third track off Halsey's sophomore album "Hopeless Fountain Kingdom", which was released on June 2, 2017. The songstress is currently hitting the road in support of the album. She is scheduled to wrap up the world tour on April 28 in Brisbane, Australia.
