AceShowbiz - Justin Bieber is a caring boyfriend. The "Love Yourself" hitmaker is said doting on his girlfriend Selena Gomez, who recently completed a rehab stint for depression and anxiety. "Selena's health is still very much a concern for her and for Justin," a source close to the actress/singer tells HollywoodLife.com.
The source adds, "He has been doting on her and making sure she has everything she needs all the time. He cares very much for Selena and is doing his best to make sure she does not overwork or stress herself out with too much unnecessary drama."
Selena has been busy working on her next album and Justin is urging her to slow down as he worries that her workaholic lifestyle may make things worse. "Selena has been hard at work in the studio, putting the finishing touches on her next album and some new songs she hopes to release soon," says the source.
"But Justin fears with acting, producing, and singing, Selena is overworked and putting her health at risk. He has been encouraging her to slow down, work on her spirituality and even take up a new creative hobby like painting or sculpting. Justin fears that between work and tension from a rocky relationship with her mother, that Selena does not take enough time to relax and enjoy life. He wants her to slow down and take better care of herself so she does not put her health in danger."
Selena voluntarily checked herself into a New York treatment facility focused on mental wellness and empowerment in January. After completing a two-week treatment, the "Wolves" songstress "feels great," a source told Us Weekly.
"She doesn't want to slip back to where she was ever," the source added. "She always wants to be proactive." Justin was reportedly very supportive as the source shared, "[He] knew about it and was supportive, but the trip had nothing to do with him. It was all her decision. She feels great and is working on new music."
After news broke about her latest rehab stint, Selena was spotted stepping out on Friday, February 2 in Los Angeles. She had lunch with friends at Mexican restaurant Casa Vega in Los Angeles. Wearing denim overalls, the 25-year-old star looked happy and healthy during the outing.
