Tom Hardy Finally Gets 'Leo Knows All' Tattoo After Losing Oscar Bet to Leonardo DiCaprio

The said tattoo, which the 'Venom' actor gets on his right bicep, is revealed in a selfie that he takes with a photographer.

AceShowbiz - Tom Hardy is true to his words. Two years after losing a bet to Leonardo DiCaprio on an Oscar nomination, the 40-year-old English actor got a tattoo that reads "Leo Knows All." The tattoo was revealed in a selfie that Tom took with a photographer recently.

Andrew Calisterio, the said photographer, took to Instagram to share the selfie, which showed that Tom chose his right bicep for the tattoo location. Andrew captioned it, "Captured a couple pictures for @tomhardy today. Fingers crossed he posts them. Regardless here's an obligatory selfie."

The story behind Tom's permanent ink started two years ago, when he and Leo made a bet on an Oscar nomination after starring in "The Revenant" together.

"Tom felt that he was not going to get nominated for his role and Leo felt his performance was so good that, of course, he was going to get a nomination," an insider told Us Weekly. "So they made a bet. If Leo was wrong, he would've gotten a tattoo. But, Leo turned out to be right."

Tom received Best Supporting Actor nomination at the 2016 Oscars. Despite not winning, he still lost the bet and had to get himself a tattoo. However, later in the year, the "Mad Max: Fury Road" actor confessed that he still hadn't got it done because Leo's handwriting was terrible.

"He wrote, in this really s****y handwriting: 'Leo knows everything,' " Tom told Esquire back in 2016. "Ha! I was like, 'Ok, I'll get it done, but you have to write it properly.' " He added that he was stalling on getting it "because it sucks."

Last year, Tom opened up about the unfairness of the bet in an interview with Vanity Fair. "F***er," Tom joked of Leo. "He would never get a tattoo if he lost that bet! It was just one-way, I'm covered in s**t tattoos anyway, so it doesn't make any difference to me. If I got a big bold 'Leo' right across my thigh or across my face, it's just that, isn't it? You bet a tattoo, you lose. That's what happens."
