The 'Fifty Shades of Grey' actress insisted that she wasn't looking at the 'Tomb Raider' actress, who was seated at her table at the event, while Jennifer Anniston was presenting on stage.

AceShowbiz - One of the most talked-about things regarding the 2018 Golden Globes, which was held on January 7, was probably when Dakota Johnson was caught giving a side-eye to Angelina Jolie while Jennifer Aniston was presenting. While the photo of Dakota allegedly shading at Angelina, who was seated at her table, went viral, Dakota insisted that she wasn't being shady.
During her appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on Monday, January 29, Dakota joked, "So is Armie's [Armie Hammer] wife! I'm not the only one. Elizabeth [Chambers] is very blatantly looking at her [Angelina], she's like, 'What is she gonna do?' "
The "Fifty Shades Freed" actress claimed that she wasn't looking at the "Maleficent" actress, let alone stirred a drama between Angelina and Jennifer. Dakota said, "Truthfully, I don't think that I was really looking at her."
"If you look really closely at the angle of my eyes, they're kind of, like, over here. There was like an actual kids' table which was the 'Stranger Things' table," the 28-year-old actress went on telling host Jimmy Fallon. She added, "And I really love 'Stranger Things' so much, like so much."
Dakota later revealed that just like any other fan, she tried to sneakily take a video of the Netflix series' young cast, including Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin and Noah Schnapp. "Like, everybody there is a famous person but I was trying to take a video of these kids," Dakota said with a laugh. "But they're children, I know! I was, like, zooming in and zooming in, but then I also accidentally caught … Ridley Scott was asleep. I think maybe he was just looking at his phone, but it looked like he was asleep."
Jennifer was married to Brad Pitt in 2000, before their relationship crumbled after the latter met Angelina on the set of their 2005 movie "Mr and Mrs Smith". It was rumored that Brad and the "Tomb Raider" star dated while he was still married to the "Friends" alum and it eventually led to Brad and Jennifer's divorce.
