This comes just a little over a week after Tom Cruise was spotted filming dangerous stunts in central London. The 55-year-old actor, who is back as IMF agent Ethan Hunt, was seen running across the rooftop of Blackfriars train station to catch a helicopter which was about to take off. He was later seen jumping out of a high window with a harness attached to his back.

"Mission: Impossible 6" is scheduled to be released in U.S. theaters on July 27 this year. McQuairre is directing the follow-up to "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation" from a script he wrote. The filmmaker also serves as producer along with Tom Cruise as well as David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and J.J. Abrams.

Alec Baldwin, Ving Rhames, Sean Harris, Michelle Monaghan and Simon Pegg are all reprising their roles from previous films. Aside from Cavill, Angela Bassett, Frederick Schmidt, Sian Brooke and Vanessa Kirby are new additions to the cast. While no plot detail is available as of know, rumor has it that Kirby is tapped in a role that is on the same level as Ferguson's character in "Rogue Nation".
