The British singer/songwriter calls out the actress/activist following her powerful Golden Globes speech, accusing her of knowing about the rumors surrounding the movie mogul but did nothing.

AceShowbiz - Seal apparently is not happy with Oprah Winfrey following her inspirational speech at the recent Golden Globes. The 54-year-old British musician has taken to his Instagram account to lash out at the 63-year-old media proprietor/actress/philanthropist, accusing her of knowing about the rumors surrounding Harvey Weinstein but did nothing.

Speaking out against Oprah and the nature of her relationship with the disgraced movie mogul, Seal posted a collage of pictures, one of which featured her kissing Harvey on the cheek at an event, and wrote across it, "When you have been part of the problem for decades but suddenly they all think you are the solution."

The "Fly Like an Eagle" singer sarcastically added in the caption of the Wednesday, January 10 post, "Oh I forgot, that's right.....you'd heard the rumours but you had no idea he was actually serially assaulting young stary-eyed actresses who in turn had no idea what they were getting into. My bad. #SanctimoniousHollywood."

Seal slamming Oprah came just days after Oprah delivered an empowering speech at the 75th annual Golden Globes held in Beverly Hills on Sunday, January 7. Her speech was linked to a campaign speech which in turn stirred rumors that the former talk show queen's eying a potential presidential run in 2020.

It's unclear if Oprah was indeed aware of the many claims against Harvey which came to light in 2017 following bombshell reports that led to the 65-year-old being fired from The Weinstein Company and checking into a sex rehab in Arizona. However, in the days following those reports, Oprah addressed the burgeoning allegations against Harvey in a Facebook post shared in October.

"I've been processing the accounts of Harvey Weinstein's hideous behavior and haven't been able to find the words to articulate the magnitude of the situation," she wrote at the time. The "A Wrinkle in Time" actress also thanked the victims who had come forward and added, "I believe a shift is coming."
