AceShowbiz - Kendall Jenner was "honored and humbled" to attend the 2018 Golden Globes on Sunday night, January 7 at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California. However the 22-year-old former Victoria's Secret model was in tears after people on Twitter made fun of her surprise appearance at the Seth Meyers-hosted event, said a Kardashian source.
"Kendall was absolutely destroyed on Instagram and Twitter," the insider revealed to Radar Online, "and was mortified when she checked her accounts during the show." According to the insider, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star "was crying to her sisters afterward, saying she is never going to the Globes again!"
Kendall allegedly "does not understand why she gets so much hate, because she thought people treated her differently from the rest of family." But the model daughter of Kris Jenner "now realizes she is clearly being grouped into the Kardashian clan even though she's worked so hard to be separate."
As previously reported, Twitterverse made fun of the older Jenner sister, who was a guest of Vogue, for attending the 75th annual Golden Globes honoring TV and film actors. One said on the micro-blogging site, "The most confusing thing about the Golden Globes tonight is the fact that Kendall Jenner is present and I don't understand for what reason."
Another believed that it was all part of momager Kris' plan for the girlfriend of Blake Griffin to attend the awards show. "Kendall literally has no reason to be at the #GoldenGlobes yet everyone is talking about her and this outrageous dress. Kris is one hell of a clever businesswoman," tweeted the user.
Some others even trolled Kendall with last year's controversy surrounding her infamous Pepsi ad. "LMAO why is @KendallJenner at the Golden Globes?? For her outstanding performance in the Pepsi ad ?" one asked, savagely telling the model to "go away" as "no one wants you there." Another wrote, "Or more importantly: why is Kendall Jenner even at the Golden Globes??" before asking a similar question, "Was she nominated for her leading role in the Pepsi commercial, orrrrr....?"
