AceShowbiz - James Corden aired a special Christmas-themed edition of "Carpool Karaoke" on "The Late Late Show" on Monday, December 11. In the more-than-two-minute clip, the British comedian sang the Christmas classic "Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town" with Harry Styles, Katy Perry, Usher, Bruno Mars, The Foo Fighters, Miley Cyrus, Pink, Sam Smith, Fifth Harmony, Ed Sheeran and Kelly Clarkson.
At the end of the mash-up video, James and Harry seemed to be getting so immersed in the Christmas spirit that they shared a smooch. "Happy Christmas, Harold!" said James, before he and Harry puckered and leaned over toward each other to kiss. Taken aback by their own action, James remarked, "Wow! I did not expect that for Christmas!"
It looks like James and Harry are so close that they're comfortable kissing each other on the lips for the funny sketch. Further proving their close relationship, the "Sing of the Times" singer filled in for the funnyman on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" with a short notice as James recently welcomed his third child.
"Today we welcomed a beautiful baby daughter into the world. Both she and her mother are doing great. We can't stop smiling. Thank you Harry for stepping in to host the show at 2 and a half hours notice!" James announced the baby's birth on Twitter on Tuesday.
In his monologue, Harry revealed he just visited James and his wife at the hospital before he came to the studio and hosted the show. "I actually have some great news. Just half an hour ago, James and his wife Jules had a beautiful baby girl," he told the audience, adding that he "was just at the hospital before I came to fill in and she looks a lot like James - mainly because James looks like a giant baby."
The 23-year-old heartthrob added, "I was sitting at home two hours ago in this suit, obviously. I got the call Jules was going into labor so James naturally called the funniest man he knew... he obviously wasn't available."
Poking fun at his and James' kiss in the "Carpool Karaoke" footage, Harry quipped, "I would like to take the opportunity to announce that... we will also be having a baby!"
