AceShowbiz - %cMarshmello% is celebrating the holiday season in his own ways. The "Wolves" hitmaker premiered a music video for track "Take It Back" on Monday, December 11. The visuals finds the music producer bringing his girlfriend to a Christmas party with his family.
The three-minute clip begins with Marshmello cuddling up to his girlfriend at his school's backyard before inviting her to his family's Christmas party. The girlfriend can be seen looking nervous as Marshmello rings the bell, leading his parents, who also adorn his signature helmet, warmly welcome her to their home.
The next scene finds his girlfriend getting into trouble as she fails to help his family prepare their Christmas dinner. She eventually leaves the home for a bit as she thinks that his family doesn't accept her. Marshmello then goes outside and cheers her up before taking her back to his home. The clip ends with him and his girlfriend having fun dancing with Marshmello's family.
In the comment section, the "Silence" DJ noted that the video is "a reminder that no matter where you're from, there is always room for acceptance," adding a heart emoji. His statement was liked by more than 7,000 people. Many of them responded that they liked both the music video and the track.
A fan wrote, "I love the song and this was such a good message. Thank you so much for being supportive and I loved your past songs. I liked this one, 'Danger' and 'Blocks' the most, though." Another similarly noted that his songs "are wonderful and very cool. Thank you for making my days happier."
Prior to the release of "Take It Back", Marshmello, who debuted in 2015, premiered a music video for "Danger" featuring %cMigos%, which serves as the soundtrack for Netflix's upcoming movie "Bright". The visuals finds the DJ and the Atlanta rappers performing the track around a slew of beautiful dancers at a strip club. Viewers also get to see footage from the movie on the clip.
