AceShowbiz - Matt Lauer may be a father of five, instead of three. A new report suggests that the disgraced TV host, who is involved in a recent sexual harassment scandal, is fathering two love children with two undisclosed women while being married to Annette Roque.
A so-called NBC insider tells InTouch Weekly that the former "Today" co-host has children with other women. The source goes on adding that it's a much-discussed topic at NBC for years.
The source, however, didn't specify who the women are and how old those children, whom Lauer reportedly fathers, are. While detail on the alleged baby mamas and children is unknown, Lauer shares three children, Jack (16), Romy (14) and Thijs (11), with former Dutch model Roque whom he wed in 1998.
Another source tells PEOPLE that Roque had been bothered with Lauer's reputation as a ladies' man even before they tied the knot, adding that their marriage "was never good." The source further shares, "He was a player when she met him and she knew that. Even many years ago, he was a flirt, a philanderer. He did his thing."
Rumor has it, the pair are planning a divorce after both were spotted removing their wedding rings while stepping out on Wednesday, December 5. Roque's father, Henri, further fueled the divorce rumor as he revealed that things in the pair's marriage turned bad after Lauer was accused of sexually harassing a female employee of "Today".
Speaking from his apartment near Amsterdam, Henry shared, "I have no words for her husband. What he has done is bad. Everybody feels betrayed." Henry added, "She is not going to stay with him and work it out. They are not together trying to work it out."
A female employee met with NBC's human resource last week to express a "detailed complaint" about Lauer's "inappropriate sexual behavior," leading the network to terminate the TV personality's contract. It was said that Lauer invited the employee to his hotel room late at night while covering the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia in 2014. Another report suggested that Lauer once gave another female colleague sex toys as a gift as well as an explicit note about how he wanted to use it on her.
